Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about installing and managing the Lens extension.

Installing Lens is quick and easy through the Chrome Web Store:

  1. 1Open Google Chrome on your computer
  2. 2Visit the Lens extension page on Chrome Web Store
  3. 3Click the "Add to Chrome" button
  4. 4In the popup dialog, click "Add extension" to confirm
  5. 5You'll see a confirmation message when Lens has been added
Tip: After installation, the Lens icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar. You may need to click the puzzle piece icon and pin Lens for easy access.

Once installed, Lens will automatically activate when you visit ClearCare Online. Look for the Lens icon in the bottom-right corner of your receivables page.

You can easily disable Lens to temporarily hide it, and re-enable it anytime:

  1. 1Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar (top-right)
  2. 2Click "Manage extensions" at the bottom of the menu
  3. 3Find Lens in your list of extensions
  4. 4Toggle the blue switch to turn Lens off

When disabled, Lens won't run on any pages and won't appear in ClearCare. Your settings and data are preserved.

Quick access: You can also type chrome://extensions in your address bar to go directly to the extensions page.

To turn Lens back on:

  1. 1Go to chrome://extensions or click the puzzle piece icon and select "Manage extensions"
  2. 2Find Lens in your extensions list
  3. 3Toggle the switch on (it will turn blue)
  4. 4Refresh any open ClearCare tabs to activate Lens

Lens will immediately start working again on ClearCare pages.

Lens requires:

  • A Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, or Arc)
  • A ClearCare Online account with billing access
  • A Paradigm account (your billing team will set this up)

Lens works on Windows, macOS, and Linux - anywhere these browsers run.

Yes! Chrome extensions installed from the Chrome Web Store update automatically. You'll always have the latest features and security updates without any action required.

Chrome checks for extension updates periodically. To manually check for updates:

  1. 1Go to chrome://extensions
  2. 2Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top-right)
  3. 3Click "Update" button

Lens works on all Chromium-based browsers, including Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, and Arc. You can install it directly from the Chrome Web Store on any of these browsers.

To completely uninstall Lens:

  1. 1Right-click the Lens icon in your Chrome toolbar
  2. 2Select "Remove from Chrome"
  3. 3Click "Remove" in the confirmation dialog

Alternatively, you can go to chrome://extensions, find Lens, and click "Remove".

Note: If you just want to temporarily stop using Lens, consider disabling it instead - that way you won't lose your settings if you want to use it again later.
